almost there

i am ready for this baby to join our family!!! i had false contractions last week and i went home from work early because of it... how disappointing to find out that it was all FAKE!!!! grrrrr.... so bummed. i'm so freaking uncomfortable now. sitting, laying down, walking, standing, pretty much everything is uncomfortable. i have trouble sleeping and it takes forever for me to get up or even roll over.... any day now missy... she didn't get my eviction notice i guess... or she's simply ignoring me... sigh... it has already begun...

on the plus side, Jacob is being super cute. He's getting bigger everyday and looks like a big boy now. he understands EVERYTHING and has started to shake his head when he doesn't like something. He nods when he agrees and randomly says something pertaining to conversations we are having when it seemed like he wasn't listening. He LOVES the movie CARS and is really into thomas the train lately.. atleast it gives me a break from Bob the Builder but i have seen CARS more times than i care for. he eats pretty much everything now but still loves plain toast and veggies. he says "juice" funny because he pushes his lips out... don't know why he does that but I get the message.

he did the cutest things yesterday. He wanted to watch elmo at my MIL's house and i was getting up off the couch to turn it on. he told me to sit down and told my MIL to do it instead since i guess i looked REALLY uncomfortable getting up. the longer i sit, the harder it is to get up because the blood needs to rush back to places i guess. Anyways, my MIL was saying that even Jacob is noticing how uncomfortable Mommy is. the second cute thing he did was after my MIL jokingly hit my leg. I don't remember why she did it but Jacob saw it and told her "no no" and rubbed my leg. he didn't want her hitting me. So funny. She did it again and he got upset with her and told her to "come" with him to get her away from me. hahahahhahaa he's so protective. my little hero.

i know i'm piercing random things together today but he's a funny kid too. Daddy had bought him two new toys from Target today and gave it to him one at a time in an attempt to distract him. He wanted Daddy to play with him so that didn't really work as planned but he had so much fun pushing his new truck backwards and making the truck reversing noise (beh beh beh). He then proceeded to make me sit on his little chair and read him a book while he read another book. that was asking for quite a bit from his big mommy in all honesty. that little chair is really small and my butt isn't. we had bath and bed a little late tonight because he had a late nap and he was confused when the hubs brought him back outside after going to bed. he looked at us and said "nigh nigh?" as in "no sleep tonight?" his 2 year old molars are coming in already and he's been having a tough time at night. crying and screaming and just plain uncomfortable. Plus he's getting over the sniffles. poor little guy...
