funny guy

Jacob got a brand new big boy bed a few weeks ago. he kept falling out of his crib and crying so we got him a twin bed. he LOVES the bed and shows it off to anyone who comes over. he's been sleeping better at night since i put his "friends" in the bed with him and he is so freaking adorable. he hugs them and puts his leg over the "best buddy" while he sleeps. we gave him two pillows to make him feel like he's a big boy but yesterday morning he went over to our bed and took ANOTHER pillow and proceeded to carry it over to his bed. The pillow is as big as him and he looks so cute trying to hold it while walking to his room. i only knew that the took the pillow b/c he stopped by the bathroom door to show me what he was holding. i guess he wanted to see if I would stop him. i didn't BUT after i put him to sleep last night, i took the pillow back! :)

he has slimmed down so much and even though he still has some of his cheeks, his face is definitely slimmer. my little boy is growing up so fast! (tear)

with the hubs going on a trip to his buddy's wedding, it will just be me and the little man this weekend. that should be great fun..... i hope and pray that he will sleep quietly until at least 5:30 both nights and not fall out of his bed like he did yesterday. i REALLY don't want to have to sleep in his room. his bed is comfortable but he moves too much. i guess i could bring him to my bed but then I'm scared that he will fall off the bed. that would suck too. sigh.. i do hope it stops raining so we could go to the park or go for a walk or something.
