fall

i love this season! well actually i hated the weather until today... its been SO hot lately but today actually feels and smells like fall! this is the beginning of wearing coats, gloves, scarves, and hats and oh yea BOOTS!!! carrying pretty umbrellas and wearing lots of layers. sigh... so wonderful!

i'm very behind in posting my pictures and that is because i have become SUPER DUPER lazy in uploading them... hehehehhe... i have pictures to post from our NYC trip, my buddy eric's birthday, joey's birthday, and hmmm... oh yea, my hair trial pictures! i got my first hair trial and it was AWESOME!!! i loved loved LOVED the curls and the back was so purdy! too bad i'm not as good with the curling iron by myself... anyhoo, our casual engagement photo shoot was this past saturday and it was very tiring... we went from downtown to malibu to marina del rey. my face hurt after we were done. hehehehhee apparently joey looks very angry when he doesn't smile. we had the corny shots and i think some good shots but sadly he always came out better looking than me... hmmmm... i mean i know he's handsome but isn't the bride SUPPOSED to be the pretty one in the photos?? sigh... anyhoo, on the plus side, i lost 12 pounds!!!!! yay!!!! i'm striving for hmmm 7 more or so.. i'll be happy with 5 pounds gone but it has been SOO hard. i gave up my beloved pastas and sweets and have been running EVERYDAY! crazy. atleast i know my stamina has gotten better! i can make it up atleast half the hill now without stopping... sadly i used to only go a few houses and then stop to breathe.

tomorrow we get to go cake tasting and i have a fitting for my dress... exciting....i think... i hope?? good thing we have our cake tasting AFTER the fitting... hehehe then i won't feel guilty about tasting the cake. i'm hoping for a layer of lemon in the cake. yes, i love lemon. so yummie. too bad one of our wedding colors isn't yellow... yellow cake with lemon flavoring.. yummm..... ooh when we first got engaged, i wanted to have the wedding at maggianos and have a giant lemon cookie as my wedding cake. or have a traditional wedding cake with lemon cookies all around it... hehehehhee or a cake like this!!!!

too bad i know people who hate lemon... hmmm.. maybe i should try to convince my moh to get me a lemon cake for the bachelorette party... i know i'm not supposed to have anything to do with it but it doesn't hurt to send a hint or two or three..... i can run it all off later.
