baby J threw his first tantrum last night. he was mesmerized by the pretty blue light on the directv box and wanted so badly to play with it. when he couldn't reach it, he started to bounce in his "bahng bahng" (exersaucer that has wheels) and hit the top of the "bahng bahng" while screaming. oh my... little guy was not happy about being denied his "toy". his daddy ended up taking him out of the "bahng bahng" and carrying him around to distract him. i guess he's getting bored of everything lately. he broke off some parts of his activity center and he gets bored of the other play things like his bouncing toy.
his teeth are starting to come in as well. he's been getting fussy in the early hours of the mornings and crying out occasionally. this means that we are not sleeping as much. he cries out a minimum of 2 times (after diaper change) between the hours of 4am and 6am. the other times he might just talk in his sleep or make one loud noise and go back to sleep. we don't get up to do anything but it wakes us up. sigh... I'm so tired...
there are times when i think i can handle another baby but then there are the times when i can't imagine having to go through all of this again so soon.... but i do really want to have a daughter one day... i love my son but i can't help dreaming about a baby girl to welcome into our family.

it seems like BABY J is asserting his personality .. ;) I hope you will be able to get some better sleep soon. fingers crossed ... :)
you already have such a lovely family but with a little girl it would be so wonderful. In french we say "LE CHOIX DU ROI" ... it means the king's choice & refer to the fact to have a little boy and a little girl :)
