.the SiLLies.: one last hurrah

Janet, Risako, and I went up to the bay area to see Janet's sister this past weekend. We went up on Friday morning and got back on Sunday afternoon. the flight was pretty short and comfy considering that the little one kept kicking my bladder. We started off the weekend visiting the cutest little guinea pig named Ringo. He is brown and white with a black face that looks like a mask. he comes running when he hears the treat box shake. silly little piggie... he poops quite alot as well... kind of gross... anyhoo, we went to eat dim sum afterwards, got some yummie double rainbow ice cream, and dropped off our stuff at Julie's apartment before heading to downtown SF on the BART for some shopping. dinner in the city then back to the apartment for some rest and movie watching. We all got bitten by mosquitoes throughout the night but we got our revenge the next day... we killed them and saw our blood squirt out.... super gross but it had to be done... anyhoo, went to the millbrae pancake house and ate YUMMIE pancakes on saturday morning before heading off to the de Young museum at golden gate park. we walked by the california academy of science and spent the morning walking through the museum. it was super cold that day and i was so happy to have my jacket. we went to haight street and walked around the street. very urban. very dirty. i found a really cute boutique that i could have done alot of damage at if i wasn't pregnant. next time... anyhoo, we saw some lady in a trash can.. don't know why... anyways, parking in the city sucks and there is so much street traffic but not much traffic on the freeways... went through china town and little italy to get back to downtown SF for dinner and some more browsing. we got some late night ice cream at fentons creamery and actually went there for brunch on sunday morning. i enjoyed the trip alot and got some really cute clothes for the little one but i missed my honey too much. well enjoy the pictures!
